History of the Downtown Revitalization Program In October 2008, the Clifford Downtown Revitalization Committee (DRC) was formed with the purpose of revitalizing Clifford’s downtown business core. The DRC is following the internationally recognized Main Street Four Point Approach which focuses on:
The DRC is a sub-committee of the Town of Minto Economic Development & Planning Committee and is comprised of residents, business people and Town staff.

Based on the extensive analysis of the Clifford Downtown Market Analysis Information the Clifford DRC has created an action plan and market position statement, which is as follows:
Downtown Clifford is located on a major highway route for cottagers and is within close proximity of several seasonal campgrounds. A selection of restaurants and several unique shops make Clifford a natural stop for travelers, cottagers, campers and nearby residents.
