Harriston 20 Minute Makeover
Businesses located in the downtown core take 20 minutes out of their day the first Saturday in May to sweep in front of their storefront, wash their windows, or pick up garbage. 

Harriston Garden Festival
The Harriston Garden Festival takes place the first Saturday in June at the Park on Mill St. Guests can enjoy a festive day in the park and pick up plants and garden accents for the summer season. Local businesses specializing in garden products and landscaping participate in this annual event. 

Grey Wellington Theatre Guild Productions - Town Hall Theatre
The Grey Wellington Theatre Guild is a community theatre group that has been staging well known favourites and innovative modern shows for more than three decades. Spring and Fall productions are held each year at the historic Town Hall Theatre.

Basement Café Concert Series - Minto Heritage Gallery
The Basement Café Concert Series is a coffee house-style concert sponsored by the Minto Arts Council. The concerts are held three times a year in the basement of the Harriston Carnegie Library. The series is entering its 12^th season and has featured wonderful performers such as James Gordon, Katherine Wheatley and Wendell Ferguson. 

Minto Farmers' Market - Harriston Location
The Minto Farmers' Market offers a wide variety of goods including: produce, beef, pork, chicken, baking, preserves, honey, maple syrup, coffee, plants and artisans. The Market is located at Harriston Motors and is open Fridays from 3 pm - 6 pm from June 8th - August 31, 2012

Harriston Minto Fall Fair
The Harriston Minto Fall Fair is an annual event that takes place the 2^nd weekend after Labour Day at the Harriston Fairgrounds. The Fall Fair features livestock shows, midway, parade, antique car show, and the popular demolition derby.

Harriston Merchants Ladies Night
A popular annual event that takes place the third Wednesday in November. Downtown merchants open their doors from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. offering special deals, treats and more.  

Harriston Santa Claus Parade
The Harriston Santa Claus Parade is an annual event that takes place in the downtown. Families can also Skate with Santa. This event takes place the last Saturday in November.
